The Oakdale Place HOA covers 18 single family homes and 6 town homes on Oakdale Place in Boulder. It manages trash pick up on the block, and oversees the maintenance of the common park area at the east side of the street, the island in the middle of the cul de sac, and the common drives at the end of the cul de sac. There is an architectural review committee which needs to approve any major exterior improvement to a home (including fencing and painting). In general, it is a very low key group of homeowners who just want to make sure that Oakdale Place is an enjoyable place for everybody to live.
